Kavarna Municipality occupies the eastern zone of the Danube plain and is a part of the Dobrudzha coast. The town offers regular bus transport to the nearest populated spots, to the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia, as to Varna and the international airport, located at about 65 êì. Kavarna stands 50 êì. from the district center Dobrich and at about 40 êì. from the borderline with Romania.
